Step-by-step walkthrough

Prefer text to video? Every turn is below in order — which ring to turn, which way, roughly how far, and whose clamp it is clearing. Keep it open next to the game and work down the list.

Level 20 · Beginner · 12 actions. This is a text-only solve. The large red outer ring is a frame, not the first move: clear the folding bars and the inner rings before turning it.

The board is built around a huge red closed ring. Inside it, two small rings sit at the top and a purple ring holds two more small rings at the bottom. Six groups of folding bars hang around the outside. The solve runs in three layers: outer bars, inner rings, then the large red frame.

How the pieces work

  • A turning ring has a gap. A clamp presses on its rim, and the ring comes free when the gap reaches that clamp.
  • A folding bar joins through a silver sleeve. Pull it along the sleeve, away from the large ring.
  • The large red outer ring is a closed frame. It is the last major piece to move, after the inner rings and most of the bars are clear.
  • One bar can take two clicks. The upper-left green bar is pulled in two stages, so steps 1 and 2 are the same piece.
  • A turn can take a whole inner group with it. The purple ring at the bottom drops with the light blue ring at step 9.

Solution order

Step 1 — Pull the upper-left green bar (first stage)

  • Action: pull the upper-left green bar out along its silver sleeve.
  • Why: it is the outermost piece on that corner and pins the bars below it.
  • After this: the main body of the green bar leaves.

Step 2 — Pull the upper-left green bar (second stage)

  • Action: pull the remaining sleeve end of the same green bar.
  • Why: this bar is removed in two clicks; the first pull does not clear the whole piece.
  • After this: the upper-left green bar is completely gone.

Step 3 — Pull the left-hand green bar

  • Action: pull the green bar on the left along its sleeve.
  • Why: it is the next outer bar on the left side.
  • After this: the green bar leaves. Only the blue bar remains on that side.

Step 4 — Pull the upper-right light blue bar

  • Action: pull the light blue bar at the upper right along its sleeve.
  • Why: it crosses the upper-right side of the large ring.
  • After this: the light blue bar leaves. Only the orange bar remains on the right.

Step 5 — Turn the upper-left light green inner ring

  • Action: turn the light green small ring inside the large red ring until its gap reaches the red clamp.
  • Why: the outer bars on that corner are gone, so the inner ring can move.
  • After this: the light green ring drops.

Step 6 — Turn the upper-right blue inner ring

  • Action: turn the blue small ring inside the large red ring until its gap meets the red clamp.
  • Why: it is the second small ring at the top of the frame.
  • After this: the blue ring drops.

Step 7 — Turn the lower orange inner ring

  • Action: turn the orange small ring inside the purple ring until its gap reaches its clamp.
  • Why: it is the first of the two small rings held by the lower purple ring.
  • After this: the orange ring drops.

Step 8 — Turn the large red outer ring

  • Action: turn the large red ring until its gap reaches the clamp on the central frame.
  • Why: the inner top rings and the outer bars are clear, so the frame can finally move.
  • After this: the large red ring comes free. Only the lower purple ring, the lower light blue ring and the remaining bars are left.

Step 9 — Turn the lower light blue inner ring

  • Action: turn the light blue small ring inside the purple ring until its gap reaches the purple ring's clamp.
  • Why: it is the last small ring held by the purple ring.
  • After this: the light blue ring and the purple ring drop together.

Step 10 — Pull the lower-left blue bar

  • Action: pull the blue bar at the lower left along its sleeve.
  • Why: it is the last bar on the left side.
  • After this: the blue bar leaves.

Step 11 — Pull the top blue and green bars

  • Action: pull the blue bar at the top middle, then let the green bar at the top right slide out with it.
  • Why: the two bars share the same top link.
  • After this: both top bars are gone.

Step 12 — Pull the right-hand orange bar

  • Action: pull the orange bar on the right along its sleeve.
  • Why: it is the last piece on the board.
  • After this: the orange bar leaves, clearing the level.

Pro tips

  • The first bar takes two clicks. Steps 1 and 2 are the same upper-left green bar. Do not look for a second green bar on that corner.
  • Save the large red ring. It is the frame around the inner rings, so turning it early does not help; clear the bars and inner rings first.
  • The inner rings are three pairs. The two top small rings are separate turns, and the lower orange and light blue rings are cleared around the purple ring.
  • The last three bars are clean-up. After the large ring and the inner group are gone, the lower-left blue, top blue/green and right orange bars come out without affecting any ring.

Level 20 in short

Pull the upper-left green bar in two stages, then the left green and upper-right light blue bars. Turn the two top inner rings and the lower orange ring, release the large red frame, then turn the lower light blue ring. Finish by pulling the lower-left blue, top blue/green and right orange bars.
